Community Involvement

Broad River Furniture is committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work, with a special emphasis on organizations that provide necessities to children and families in need. We also focus on the power of awareness and education in topics, such as foster care adoption, youth mentorship, and a healthy family environment. Here are a few of the major charities we have partnered with:

	Beds For Kids’ mission is to provide a bed and other essential furniture to every child and family in need in Charlotte, NC.  You can also follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
	In keeping with Broad River Furnitures commitment to serve it’s local communities, a portion of the proceeds from every mattress sold are donated to A Hope to Dream to help a local child in need. A Hope to Dream benefits the following communities; Greenville, SC, Spartanburg, SC, Anderson, SC, Columbia, SC, Augusta, Ga, Fayetteville, NC & coming soon to Raleigh, NC. 	Steve’s Coats for Kids is a coat drive where people can donate new or gently used coats for needy children in the Charlotte, NC area.
	9 Family Focus has a central goal of bringing businesses and service organizations together to focus on a family environment and to address the needs of our community, through programming, PSAs, projects and events.
	The School Tools campaign is the region’s largest school supplies collection that helps thousands of students who cannot afford even the most basic school supplies across Mecklenburg and 21 surrounding counties.
	South Carolina Heart Gallery is a photographic exhibit that displays children in foster care online and in public venues to raise awareness of the need for foster care adoption and helps connect interested families and waiting children.
